Concept:
From the knowledge of the sensitive relation of an architectural room and the individual well-feeling of the users resulted my intensive deal with the design ideals of classic and modern live-, work- and life culture within the last years.
Moreover, the exact observation of nature let me dive into the secrets of material, form and colour and its aesthetic interplay. My artistic origins are based on the knowledge of the drawing school of the manufactory in which I have learned the bases of the nature studies (plants and animals), the portrait, the type painting and still life in different techniques. In addition, the education of several years in ornamentdesign, colour basics, material knowledges and history of art conveyed important bases to me.
In the further professional career I studied in the practice of the mural painting restoration the historical German design principles of architecture and the traditional used techniques. My stays in foreign countries and the fascination of strange art styles not least enriched my classical mural painting.
I work traditionally with perforated paper, stencils and ornament rollers, pigments and historical binders, however, I also like the advantages of the modern techniques like Airbrush and silk-screen print, as well as the finished mixed products.
Which of the techniques i use depends on the planned design and the desired material aesthetics. I like to complete the "alla prima" technique with multilayer glazes or transparent colourlayers. grisaille-painting, imitations of all sorts of wood- and rocktypes, as well as abstract and graphic designs are part of my repertoire.
The design is developed regarding the complete situation including the surroundings.
I also like to use modern or historical patterns and photos for the design concept. |

Realisation:
The orders are carried out in close cooperation with the costumer. The manning level is lined up according to object size and time frames. Specialists of the respective branch will carried over different parts of work. For preparation work and first coats I like to engage highly qualified painter companies which meet my special requirements.
I generally put challenging parts of the restorations or paintings into practice myself, such as a free artistically painting.
The pricing is determined by the valued time frame of the orders and can not indicated in flat metre prices or square metre , because the expenditure of work can be very different depending on claim and technology.
I also take orders with pleasure abroad and I am open-minded about partnership with architects , interior designers, set-designers as well as artists. |
